Wellspring's mission is to provide support and skills to people facing challenges to their financial, physical or emotional wellbeing in order to help them achieve independence and self-sufficiency.
Those who resolved to get organized in the New Year, have a perfect outlet for recycling the old and making room for the new. Michael Filbey of Cohasset can help! Last year, Michael started Cbay LLC, an online selling service that donates a percentage of its profits to charity. Filbey, started Cbay during his first year in college and so far, Cbay has raised over $2700 for Wellspring Multi-Service Center.
Now in its second year, CBay continues to successfully sell household treasures for local residents, returning 60% of the sale profits to the owners while making a substantial donation to Wellspring, a regional social service center. Filbey explains: “Got stuff you no longer use? Let Cbay turn your abandoned valuables into cash! From picking up your item to shipping it out, Cbay does all the work; you don’t lift a finger. You get 60% of the total sale, 30% of the sale goes to Wellspring and 10% of the total sale goes to Cbay, everybody wins!”
