Those who resolved to get organized in the New Year, have a perfect outlet for recycling the old and making room for the new. Michael Filbey of Cohasset can help! Michael, a college junior, started Cbay LLC, an online selling service that donates a percentage of its profits to charity. Filbey, who began selling his toys on Amazon at the age of 10, started Cbay during his first year in college and has raised thousands of dollars for Wellspring Multi-Service Center in Hull while helping residents de-clutter.

Now in its third year, CBay continues to successfully sell household treasures for local residents, returning 60% of the sale profits to the owners while making a substantial donation to  Wellspring, a regional social service center. Filbey explains: “Got stuff you no longer use? Let Cbay turn your abandoned valuables into cash! From picking up your item to shipping it out, Cbay does all the work; you don’t lift a finger. You get 60% of the total sale, 30% of the sale goes to Wellspring and 10% of the total sale goes to Cbay, everybody wins!”
